About The Event
Crafty Craft is one of West Berkshire’s largest annual events, and is put on by Visit Newbury supported by Newbury Round Table raising thousands for local charities. Teams race home-made rafts from Kintbury to Newbury along the canal, often raising money for their own favourite charity.
The main event for the public is the fun at the Finish Line in Victoria Park, from 10am until 4pm, free entry. There will be stalls and activities for all ages, food & music, and Pelham’s fun fair in the adjoining meadows.
The planning of this year’s Crafty Craft race is well under way, set to be ready for Monday 6th May 2019. The theme for this year is ‘The History of Newbury’.
There is still plenty of time to enter a craft or a stall in the park and we are also still looking for sponsors so please get in touch.
The Crafty Craft 2019 event is organised and run by Visit Newbury supported by the members of Newbury Round Table. All funds raised will go directly to Naomi House.
